in Seaside, Oregon
was my wacky, wonderful grandmother who'd offer me seconds and
thirds on chocolate then tell me not to eat too much. She also
placed pebbles on the floor beneath a painting of a path in a
forest and always ordered piping hot coffee and pie before her
lunch or dinner entree in a restaurant.
didn't get to see Gladys right before she died and I didn't get
to introduce her to her new great granddaughter, but she's with
us in spirit and I miss her.
