Services
The Oregon Hospice Association is a nonprofit statewide membership organization that exists to promote high quality hospice and comfort care throughout Oregon. We do this by providing:
- Technical assistance to more than 70 operating and developing hospice programs in Oregon communities
- Education for hospice professionals and volunteers
- Public information
- Advocacy for support of hospice with government bodies and agencies, insurance companies, employers, etc.
- Information and referral services for patients, families and health care professionals
- Accreditation of high quality hospice programs
- Support for other activities that promote the hospice concept and high quality hospice care
